A woman had attended a meeting to be loosed from an infirmity. This happened a few weeks ago at a previous meeting in Nebraska hosted by Jay Bartlett Missions. Troy and I traveled to attend and minister as needed with Pastor Bartlett. We have attended meetings of his in various cities and at this particular meeting, Troy was asked along with a couple of other men from his California church to minister until Jay arrived from traveling out of the country. I was sitting in a front corner with Pastor Sharon who has ministered with Pastor Bartlett for decades. We were interceding for the room that had been filled up with men and women. Troy began the meeting by playing some Psalm music that I had produced for our ministry at Jesus Saves Church Online. Several women began to weep as the music played softly. I had noticed a woman who was sitting near the front as she had been sitting with her head bent down. She had caught my attention even before the meeting had begun as she looked so defeated. While she listened to the Psalm music she began to weep. My heart was drawn to her from the moment I saw her.
Healing Begins
Troy called people up row by row to be prayed for healing from infirmity. A woman came forward who I will now refer to as Sara. As he was praying for Sara she began weeping harder and Troy motioned for me to come forward and pray for her. I did, and Pastor Sharon came with me as well. As we began praying for her she began begging for help, it was here that I would first learn about the fiery trial she was engulfed in.
Sara told us that she had a mass in her womb and was bleeding uncontrollably, and she felt as if she was dying. This infirmity had been present for quite some time. We also learned that she had traveled 13 plus hours by bus to make it from a state farther away. It took everything she had to get into that room that the meeting was being held in. She literally had to drag herself in. In addition, she began sharing with Pastor Sharon and myself how she had been in a relationship with a man for 14 years that she was not married to. This man was very evil from what we could gather. He was violent and brutal to people he didn’t know and he subjected this woman to sexual assaults that she endured. Sara had a soft voice and I knew from this short time with her that she was a very Godly woman. She had haunted light blue eyes that had dark shadows under them and she was dressed very modestly, almost like you would imagine a nun would be dressed as.
Spiritual weapons discerned
Pastor Sharon discerned that she had a weapon in her head, in fact, a large spear. I know this will sound remarkable to those that haven’t heard about spiritual weapons. I can tell you they are very real. The enemy sends us fiery darts as the scriptures tell us. I agreed completely with Sharon as I could discern that this woman was under mind control demons that kept her mind bound with the past memories of this man whom we learned had died a few months earlier. Sharon asked me to help her remove this weapon and the two of us physically removed it from her head. As we did Sara immediately felt it pulled out. We then proceeded to pray over the mass in her womb that it would dissolve and she would be completely healed. Sara hugged us both as if her life depended on it and I felt tears coming to my eyes as she had tears flowing down her face.
The next evening of the meeting Pastor Jay Bartlett was ministering to the people who once again came and filled up the meeting hall. He called Sara up as he discerned that she was in need of deliverance. Sara proceeded to tell him that she had received much healing yesterday. He had her sitting up front with a bible on her heart as he called another woman forward that had begun manifesting demons during this same meeting. After he ministered to this other woman parts of her heart had been sent to heaven. This is a remarkable mystery that we are witnessing during meetings as well as in private ministry sessions. This woman was having vivid visions of being in heaven and being in the very presence of Lord Jesus. Jay asked her what she was experiencing while there in this heavenly vision and she said she was with Jesus, then Jesus sent her over to Sara who was seated with her back to her bent over holding her bible to her heart. The woman walked over and carressed Sara’s head. I once again felt tears in my own eyes as I saw this and understood that Jesus had sent this woman who was having the heavenly vision to touch Sara and her infirmity. Words can’t adequately describe this beautiful moment. But I know I will never forget it.
Sara attended every meeting as they were held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The transformation in her demeanor was remarkable. She literally looked 10 years younger. She shared with Sharon and me that she knew God was healing her and she was not in near the crushing pain she had been when she arrived. I knew that her healing was already beginning and also that she would need further ministry.
A few short weeks passed and she reached out to Troy and I for personal ministry via Skype. She had called an ambulance due to her infirmity of heavy bleeding and had been rushed to the ER. There would be a couple of other runs to the ER following this first time. Ironically despite the enormous blood loss, she was not anemic. During this Troy and I began ministering to her. We understood that deeper deliverance is a process and although she had received much healing during her attendance in Nebraska, she needed much more. She once again began sharing experiences she had with the now-deceased man that she had been so tormented by. We lead her through curse breaking prayers and we settled on the area of Lust curses being renounced. I asked Sara if her bleeding had begun when she was with this man. She looked amazed and said that it had. This began a very deep session of inner healing and coming against demons of lust that had transferred to Sara from this relationship. She was moaning and crying through most of this session and finally, after we prayed over her she said she felt “clean” in her deepest parts. She had never thought she would feel clean again. I have much more to share concerning this ongoing ministry with Sara and will share more in future letters. For now I will say that my own heart has been deeply touched as well as hers.
