Leviathan is the Chief demon of Pride. He is a twisting water serpent listed in the Bible. You can look at the book of Job to find him. Isaiah 27:1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that [is] in the sea. It is also listed in Psalms multiple times. There are pride demons and then there is Leviathan the King of Pride. This demon has crowns on it and is very prideful. You see the spirits in the Bible are demons. They can and desire to inhabit people to destroy them.
Anger Cast Out
We recently ministered to a deliverance minister. This lady I will call Joan for privacy purposes. Joan came from a broken home like many people today. She was physically and emotionally abused as a child. It even went so far as her stepdad molesting her. Joan was raised in a supposed Christian home and accepted Christ early in her life. Joan had her own mother not desire to have her or her sister. She learned this later in life from a letter that was given to her Aunt from her mother. Joan’s biological dad was not in the picture and she never had a relationship with him. Through all of this trauma and heart break Joan became angry. She was angry at God for not protecting her. The Jesus she grew to know as a child she felt didn’t protect her through all of her pain.
The Broken Heart Healed
Through her suffering and pain Joan’s heart and been broken many times. Some of these broken parts were angry at God. This condition can make it challenging for people to receive deliverance as they are mad at God. Yet, Jesus is the one that needs to heal them. Thus the problem of how can you get healed by Jesus if your mad at Him. So this anger towards God had to be dealt with. The broken parts were ministered to and they released the anger at God. This allowed Joan to receive deliverance from the demons of anger, hate, bitterness, rage and more.
The Holy Spirit told me to confront pride in Joan after the anger left. As I confronted the demon of pride I was immediately drawn to the king of pride. The demon of Leviathan entered her bloodline generations ago. This spirit had held Joan in bondage when she was younger. Joan however, had humbled herself over the years. This weakened the demon of Leviathan. Leviathan had crowns on himself and these were removed also weakening the spirit. This demon was then sent to the pit along with multiple other spirits of pride. Joan was set free from generational pride, and Leviathan.
Where did you have pride in the past? Seek the Lord and guidance from the Holy Spirit asking Him to show you where you may have pride. Repent and be delivered of pride and Leviathan. God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. James 4:6 God Bless you all in Jesus mighty name! Troy Rockers
