What is spiritual surgery? Well if you look online you will find all kinds of explanations for it. From the demonic to the miraculous. Today I would like to give you my explanation of spiritual surgery. Jesus answered and said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Luke 5:31 Jesus is the healer and the great physician. Through the leading of Jesus and the Holy Spirit spiritual surgery is performed. The removal of spiritual weapons, demons, cutting of soul ties and more is done through spiritual surgery. Spiritual surgery is nothing more than deep deliverance, removing spiritual debris out of your life. Often times a persons broken heart is healed by Jesus during a session. You see Jesus came to heal the broken of heart. The problem is often times we bury our pain instead of giving it to Jesus for healing. When it is buried it has to be unearthed and exposed or given to Jesus. Usually when the heart break occurred a demon was present causing the heart break. The evil spirit needs to be removed as well for full healing to occur.
Ephesians 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;. We see in the verse 16 above that the devil sends fiery darts. These spiritual darts can cause pain, infirmity and other disorders in the flesh. These weapons need removed in the person before the pain will subside. In our ministry we have removed all kinds of spiritual weapons from people. After we do the pain is gone. How do we remove them? By the Holy Spirit leading and telling us it is a weapon we simply grab it by faith and cast it out of the person. Sometimes a prayer of healing is needed for the pain to go completely away and other times it is not necessary. We have removed back stabbing daggers from people as well. Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. This scripture tells us we should be careful what we speak about and say. James had much to say about the tongue in his third chapter. When we curse someone it is a spiritual weapon that is released upon them. I believe the daggers we have removed from people in the past were due to word curses people spoke over them.
Jesus is the spiritual surgeon.
Jesus sent His disciples out to heal the sick. Today as a disciple of Christ we strive to heal the sick. If the sickness is rooted in a spiritual problem then it must be dealt with in the spiritual. This may include casting out demons causing the sickness. Luke 4:38 Now He arose from the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. But Simon’s wife’s mother was sick with a high fever, and they made request of Him concerning her. 39 So He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and served them. We see in this scripture that He rebuked the fever and it left her. This was most likely a spirit of infirmity that left her. In the scriptures it is also noted that an epileptic child and a mute man’s infirmities were due to demons. When the evil spirit was removed they were healed. During spiritual surgery evil spirits may have to be evicted out of the person as well.
Spiritual surgery can help someone with mental problems, physical problems and more. Heart break from the past can keep us from fully loving today. Jesus came to heal the broken of heart and does this during spiritual surgery. When the pain from the past is unlocked and then given to the Lord healing occurs in the heart. This is a crucial and important part of spiritual surgery. If someone wants to hold on to the past pain then they will carry it with them.
